Tassili-n-Ajjer rock art is at least 9000 years old

Tassili-n-Ajjer, the famous rock art site of the Central Sahara has been dated to 9-10 millennia ago or older, using OSL techniques.

Note to readers: I am going to attempt to at least limit posts that deal with too many unrelated issues. So expect more of these shorter snippets. I hope is best for all.

I think you're right to limit posts to one subject, even if it means publishing more and shorter posts. Perhaps it's just my attention span but I prefer not to have shift my mental focus mid-post. I instinctively feel that what's being said can't be very important, and I probably miss things.

It's definitely better in all aspects except one: production. Sometimes you are just not in the mood to write or even the news item has so little substance you can discuss that it merits little more than the link itself (a mere mention). But I will try to produce single-content entries because otherwise it's all advantages.
